Folder Size

Folder Size helps you figure out where all that hard drive space has gone on your computer. It visually displays the size of each folder in the form of a bar graph. Click a folder bar and it will drill down and show sizes of folders within. No installation needed, just run the file.

Misc Tools Commandliner

Misc Tools Commandliner is an alpha release tool (there are likely bugs). Please use with caution! It is a set of batch files and other auxillary files used to combat malware, including recent attempts to block Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from installing or running. It also incudes a-Squared 4.0 Commandline scanner with Ikarus antivirus scanning engine, and Sophos antivirus command line scanner.

The current version has not been tested on 64-Bit machines.

Norton (Symantec) Removal Tool

Warning: The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2009/2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products from your computer. If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you proceed.

Instructions:

Download the Norton Removal Tool. Save it to your desktop. Close all open windows (i.e. Internet Explorer, Word, etc.) and run the Norton Removal Tool by double clicking on it.
You'll be asked to type in some letters/numbers that you see in the picture (not case sensitive). Continue following the prompts until it starts the removal. It may take some time (up to 30 mintues) to completely run.

WhoAmI

WhoAmI provides quick verification of Internet Connectivity Diagnostics on your system: TCP/IP status, Gateway, DNS access, and more. WhoAmI is a 'no install' program, just download WhoAmI.exe and run to see your results - all you have to do is allow it access through your firewall.
Note: If under TCP/IP, you see an error, Windows XP users can run WinSockFix (WinSockFix is not compatible wth Windows Vista or Windows 7; run the Network Diagnosis instead, which is supposed to self-correct Winsock/network settings.)

The Winsockfix Utility will:
1.) Detect your current Operating System
2.) Release the IP address, taking you "Offline"
3.) Reset the TCP stack using Netsh.exe (Windows XP only)
4.) Delete the current Registry TCP and Winsock Values
5.) Import new "Working" Registry Values
6.) Backup any Current "Hosts" file
7.) Replace the "Hosts" file with a default one
8.) Reboot the Computer

WinSockFix can often cure the problem of lost connections after the removal of malware or improper uninstall of firewall applications that modify the XP network and Winsock settings.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is considered to be the next step in the detection and removal of malware. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is an anti-malware application that can thoroughly remove even the most advanced malware. It is designed to detect all known malware with just the "Quick Scan" feature. The real-time protection module is disabled in the freeware version.

Spybot Search & Destroy v1.6

Spybot Search & Destroy is another one of the best anti-spyware applications available. It detects many of the same types of malwares as Adaware does, and has some other nice features. Such as Tea Timer. This is a registry monitoring device, extremely helpful in these days of malwares dropping all sorts of nasties into the registry.

SpywareBlaster v4.1

SpywareBlaster prevents known ActiveX installs by setting kill bits into the registry; many nasty malware get installed in this manner.
