Combinatorial Game Rulesets

Combinatorial games are two-player, perfect-information games with no randomness. This table contains many rulesets and known properties. I update it as I learn new things, so this site changes often.

New: Hover over the name cell of a ruleset to see a brief description. I don't have descriptions for all of them, but I'll keep adding them!

I Want More!

If you see any missing games (there are lots I haven't yet added) or any missing information about a game, please let me know! Send me an email at and include as much of the following information as is missing: (If you're linking to a paper/webpage or something else I have to search through, please summarize things so it makes it easier for me to make the update!)

Please don't be shy! Don't worry about being self-congratulatory, I still want to add a ruleset, even if you came up with it.

Thanks to these people for helping me put this together! (Did I forget you? Please email me: .)
